Overview
Godot AI connects MCP clients such as Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Codex and Cursor to a running Godot editor. An editor plugin starts the MCP server and shows connection status in its own dock.
Its tools let an AI assistant build scenes, edit nodes and scripts, wire signals, and set up UI, materials, animation, particles, cameras and environments. It comes from the makers of MCP for Unity and is MIT licensed.
