## Overview

Aura, made by Ramen VR, is a team of AI agents for Unreal Engine and Unity. It works on editor tasks, gameplay systems, art, debugging, testing and QA, and its Verification Agent builds something, launches the game, tests it and keeps iterating instead of stopping at code.

In Unreal it creates and edits Blueprints and C++ and can review Blueprints for problems like hanging nodes; in Unity it handles C# along with scenes, assets and prefabs. Aura also installs MCP servers, so Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another MCP client can drive it. Aura 1.0 launched in September 2026 with Mac support and a Fab Store edition that includes C++ source for custom engine builds.

## Key features

- Specialized Blueprint and Python subagents, with C++ and C# support
- Verification Agent that runs and tests the game
- Unlimited usage in Auto Mode on paid plans
- Monthly premium credit for frontier models
- MCP servers for Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and other clients
- 3D model and audio generation

## Use it for

- Build and test a gameplay system in Unreal or Unity
- Review Blueprints for typos and hanging nodes
- Pair a coding agent with an engine-aware agent over MCP

## Pricing

Every plan starts with a free 2-week trial with unlimited Auto Mode and $10 of premium credit. The official pricing page lists Indie at $10/month billed yearly ($120/year) with $15 of premium credit a month, Pro at $40/month with $60 of premium credit, higher rate limits, pay-as-you-go overage and Super mode, and Ultimate at $200/month with $335 of premium credit. A Fab Store edition includes source access and one year of Indie; Enterprise is by contact. Aura may train on chats you provide; you can switch that off, but unlimited Auto Mode requires training to be on (off by default for enterprise).

## Getting started

Sign up for the free trial at tryaura.dev, then install the Unreal plugin (UE 5.4 to 5.8 on Windows, 5.7 and 5.8 on Apple silicon Macs) or the Unity desktop app (Unity 2022.3 LTS or newer).

## Alternatives

- [Ludus AI](https://lootllama.net/tools/ludus-ai/): Unreal Engine plugin that reads your whole project and builds Blueprints, C++, VFX, materials, sound and 3D assets from prompts.
- [MCP for Unity](https://lootllama.net/tools/mcp-for-unity/): Open-source bridge that lets AI assistants control the Unity Editor: scenes, scripts, assets, tests and builds.
- [Unity AI](https://lootllama.net/tools/unity-ai/): Unity's built-in AI assistant and asset generators inside the editor.
